Healing Favor Nutrition Inc., is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit charitable organization managed by culturally competent Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, volunteers,  executive directors and volunteers.  Facilitating  a variety of  free educational and   medical nutrition therapy services  to enhance  the wellbeing  of the underserved and underrepresented population in our communities. With a focus on evidence based nutrition science, our organization strives to help individuals, health care providers, and companies maximize effectiveness of disease preventative nutrition care services.

Mission:  Healing Favor Nutrition,  has been serving  and providing free & affordable  nutrition education treatment  services to low-income families, seniors, the disabled, special needs children, underserved  and underrepresented populations.  Our Mission is to empower underserved Communities to eat healthier foods, promote health, improve access to  preventative nutrition care and reduce health disparities that adversely impact its communities.

Vision: Everyone  has access to  preventative nutrition care & education  ensuring their optimal health and well-being. We focus on  promoting  nutrition practices and preventing major causes of disease. reduce health disparities and improve the health and wellness status in  vulnerable communities.

Over one-third of children under the age of 18 in the United States are affected by childhood obesity, with higher prevalence in BIPOC populations.   

Chronic illness is taking its toll on the health of America. Half of all adults in the United States have one or more diet related  chronic illnesses. The financial toll of chronic disease on the economy is staggering!!!!!!

Chronic diseases such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes are the leading causes of mortality and disability in the United States.                                                                 

More than one in two Americans have at least one chronic health problem, and four in ten have two or more.   

Food can and should be used as a medical intervention to prevent chronic illness or to mitigate the symptoms and complications that accompany the diagnosis of chronic diseases. Specifically, food and nutrition interventions that facilitate or encourage the consumption of foods that are appropriate for identified health conditions or disease risk factors should be fully integrated into healthcare.     

People living in rural locations suffer from various preventable nutrition-related health inequities, including cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Example, Research Evaluate nutrition literacy in uninsured subjects with diabetes mellitus (DM). Unfortunately, they have limited access to  preventive nutrition care services, resources  and education.
