I have completed a Bachelor's degree in Health Studies as well. My internships and volunteering experiences in several nonprofit organizations have strengthened my passion for health equity and chronic disease prevention. Over the past year I have assisted adults living with Alzheimer's disease with their mental health. I have also been working with an organization to advocate for chronic disease patients, assisting them with navigating their health care, and working to improve health policy issues related to chronic disease on a local, state, and national level.
